Forensic Evaluations

Center for Forensic and Clinical Psychology of New Jersey LLC (CFCPNJ)/ Rhonda E. Greenberg, Psy.D. is available for psychological consultations and psychological evaluations. All legal questions are to be directed to your attorney. 

Evaluation may include any or all of the following:

  • Collateral Gathering
  • Review of All Pertinent Legal and Related Information Data
  • Clinical Interviewing
  • Standard clinical interview
  • Psychosocial, Medical, Family and Psychiatric history
  • Abuse and Trauma History
  • Mental Status Exam
  • Psycho-legal Consultation
  • Non-client involvement, with informed and signed written consent of client
  • Witness preparation, coaching and other client preparation.
  • Clinical Interview, Histories, Review Records & Oral Report.
  • Includes Psycho-diagnostic testing, if deemed necessary

Asylum

1 or 2 Evaluation meetings

  • providing a Comprehensive clinical interview
  • Review of all documents post client evaluation
  • Brief psychological testing if client is fluent in English
  • Research on country’s political, human rights, and war-related history
  • Notarized Affidavit
  • Consultation with experts, as needed
  • Telephonic Expert Witness, as needed

Civil Litigation:

  • How was the person functioning and performing prior to the alleged harm and/or catastrophe?
  • How was the person functioning and performing at the time of the psychological evaluation?
  • How has the alleged harm and/or catastrophe impacted the person since the event and what are the possible long term effects?

Collateral information is gathered with the informed, signed and dated consent of the client. Most collateral information is reviewed only after the completion of the psychological evaluation to ensure non-bias during the assessment. Civil litigation matters in which CFCPI may provide valuable input include, but are not limited to:

CFCPI provides psychological evaluations to help determine possible psychological conditions, impairments, challenges and disabilities that include consideration of the possibility of malingering, and how that impacts the psycho-legal question at hand.
